We had an amazing time at this homestay! Everything was spotlessly clean, the service was excellent, and everything was well-organized. The breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. Linh was incredibly caring and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. The rest of the staff were equally friendly and attentive. We also rented a motorbike directly at the homestay, which was super convenient. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

The staff is lovely and accomodating, they speak english very well and help us to book a great tour, to do our laundry, to get to the bus station etc. And the view is exceptionnally amazing!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Funny Monkeys. Linh is exceptionally friendly, a great communicator and fluent in English. The location and river views are excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean.

It is so peaceful! The organised trek was a very memorable experience. We ate there and the food was SO GOOD. Free bicycle hire was so fun. The host was so kind.

I recently stayed at Funny Monkeys Homestay in Phong Nha for two days with a friend, and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The homestay is beautiful, well-maintained, and exceptionally clean. The rooms were comfortable, and the setting by the river offered a stunning view—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The food was also excellent. I especially loved that we could order breakfast the evening before for a specific time the next morning. The highlight of our stay was definitely the incredible staff, especially the owner, who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. When my friend fell ill, the owner personally took me on her scooter to the local pharmacy and even helped translate so I could get the right medication. On another occasion, while we were out hiking, she went to a currency exchange on our behalf to change money for us. These thoughtful gestures and her genuine concern truly made us feel at home. I wholeheartedly recommend Funny Monkeys Homestay to anyone visiting Phong Nha. If you want a serene location by the river, great food, and the friendliest, most accommodating hosts, look no further!

Everything was great. Amazing views of the river and mountains, the food was nice, and all the staff were super friendly, Linh spoke great English, helped me with my itinerary and was always there incase I needed anything, she even made me 'English breakfast' tea which isn't on the menu or common in Vietnam. And it was a good cuppa👍🏻☕ Highly recommend if your planning to do the duck stop and see some caves!
