Everything. Le Antiche Porte is a fantastic property in the heart of the 'Centro Storico'. Ultra clean, very comfortable room with plenty of space. Our room had a very large open terrace with an enclosed view of the old town. Breakfast is excellent, perfect choice of various homemade pastries, cornettos as well as good choice of yoghurts etc etc. But this is only one part of breakfast - food, because you'll be open mouthed just staring at the stupendous view from the top floor roof terrace where breakfast is served, up up a spiral staircase. On top ( no pun) of all this - the staff themselves are lovely and friendly. I regret my lack of Italian because it was difficult to express my appreciation for their hospitality. - Grazie mille per tutto!! Peschichi itself is fantastic. Genuine. Probably having a car is better to see all the nearby sights, but we didn't have one and it's not necessary. One thing not to miss (apart from the many well known spots) and which isn't particularly well advertised is the Ferrovie del Gargano railway connecting Foggia and San Severo to Peschichi Callanelle (10min connecting bus to town). Slow but fascinating and beautiful journey with fantastic views) Once again, Le Antiche Porte -- great choice, we didn't want to leave and definitely want to return!
