We were there for 1 night to see the Holiday Train. Hotel's cleanliness, excellent location, and a great pool for relaxation impressed us.

I was attending for family event close by. Hotel was perfect location, facilities, food, staff all were as I hoped. Ease of entrance, someone to help with bags would be only criticism. staff...nothing too much trouble.

The beds were very comfy and the room seemed clean but I woke up to a bug crawling up my bed. I killed it and flushed it down the toilet. Thank goodness it was in the morning and not before I went to sleep otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed.

Breakfast was very average, with no flexibility! I cannot eat eggs, so asked for an extra sausage instead - far too difficult!

This is our go-to place to stay when visiting family in the area. From check-in to check-out, we felt well cared for and appreciated as guests. Room well appointed and exceptionally clean. Breakfast in bright café included table service. On this stay we also opted to host family for dinner at The Locks, the inn's onsite restaurant, which also offered excellent service.

The room was really nice and the king size bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful when we asked for bedding for the sofa bed. The breakfast was really good but it would have been even better if it had come with bacon. The eggs were good and the home fries were delicious.
