This hotel is in the centre of the medieval town of Pérouges and is quite spectacular - you are literally staying in an historic monument. Having said that, everything is very comfortable and our rooms had every amenity that you would want, and the old town is all right on your doorstep. The food in the restaurant is of a very high standard and the medieval atmosphere of the entire hotel has been retained throughout. You can drive your car through the cobbled streets of the old town all the way to the hotel, but then you move your car to the hotel car park about a 2 minute walk away. Obviously the hotel has no lifts and the staircases are tight, so if you are thinking of staying here, it might be a good idea to have a small overnight bag instead of a huge suitcase.

A very special treat to be able to stay for a few nights right in the centre of beautiful medieval Perouges. Atmospheric - especially early morning and evening. Great parking also. Try to have dinner at least once in their own restaurant.
