A fabulous place to stay. Fantastic hosts. Have been staying here for many years. No better place . Perfect location. The hosts couldn't take more care .

The location was very historic, especially regarding the Somme museum and history of the first world war, the development of the town during the 16th century, and the buildings within the area.

Beautiful, atmospheric building in an attractive town. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. The restaurant belonging to the same owners, but diagonally across the square, is very good indeed. My room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable.

Our 3rd visit and won't be our last. Everything about La Porte de Bretagne is of a tremendously high standard and great value for money - from the warm welcome, to the so comfortable bedrooms, to the wonderful breakfasts - all make for a magnificent stay. Secure parking on the premises. On the main street through Péronne so easy access to shops etc. and WW1 museum. The owners are also restauranteurs and their restaurant (at the other end of the main street - about a 10 minute walk) is well worth a visit - pleasant ambience and superb food.

Exceptional hosts that made us feel completely at home. Beautiful Auberge in a great location with lots of attention to detail. The breakfast was also fabulous with lots of variety. Couldn't fault anything and would definitely stay here again.

Super hosts, room excellent, cleanliness outstanding, attention to detail really appreciated. Breakfast excellent. Parking secure behind gates. Lovely old town with lots of historic associations. Church worth a short visit with a fine organ.

The photos do not do this accommodation justice. In over 50 accommodations booked this year, this has been the very best so far. The rooms are very spacious, the king size bed supremely comfortable, the bathroom spotless with quality towels and an excellent shower with separate toilet within the bathroom and two basins. Coffee and tea making facilities and access to a fridge with cold water and juice. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices and great coffee. The hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming and spoke English. Our only regret was not staying longer. We stayed on one of the hottest days of the year so far and the room was cool.
