- The view from the room was absolutely amazing—you could see the lake and the mountains. - The location was super convenient too—just a 5-minute walk from the train station but still really quiet, and only 2 minutes from the ferry station, so exploring other towns around the lake was super easy. - The staff were friendly, easy to talk to, and really flexible. - Our room was spotless and had everything we needed, like toiletries, a kettle with tea, and plenty of towels.

Basic but all we needed for one night stay. Handy mini-mart next door. Breakfast served at a hotel down the street was ample and nice.

The accommodation is not far from the station and the pier. There are shops downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping. I have to go to another hotel for breakfast, but it's not far to walk. The breakfast is delicious... The room is also clean and comfortable. At this accommodation cost, it's really is great

It's very close to the train station and ferry terminal. There is a lift to bring up your luggage. Our room has a balcony. The staff is helpful, she walked us to our room which is at the other building at the intersection. She let us put our luggage in the room before the room is ready. The breakfast is nice.

Clean and tidy room with large balcony. Small room and bathroom, very simply furnished but all we needed as we were out exploring each day. Great location. 2 min walk to ferry and 5 min walk to train station. Walking distance to all the best restaurants in Varenna. Breakfast was simple but just what we needed, served in a Hotel up the road. Must do the hike up to the castle for best view over lake :)
