Their attention to detail is absolute. While for some people they might consider it 'old fashioned' they have taken their heritage and presented it in a way that is true to the farm house origins and yet uncluttered and immaculately clean. It felt like a home. The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable, fresh milk in a wee fridge in the room, TV and good WiFi. Bed and bathroom very clean and again excellent attention to detail. The breakfast was first class with freshly squeezed orange juice, locally sourced Ingredients and generous. It was served again at immaculate tables laid with 'Grannie's' butter knife, condiments presented in crystal glass dishes, pristine tablecloth and napkins, pretty flower decor. Every Individual could make requests and breakfast was adapted accordingly. Having arrived quite late the night before, I requested to use the sun room to do some work not leaving until nearly 1pm the next day, which they kindly accommodated, attentively checking I had what I needed. Well maintained and enjoyable herbacious garden outlook. Lovely family run business where the quality of your visit mattered to them.

Very friendly staff, very clean and comfy and a really delicious breakfast! Can't fault our stay at all. Jackie was also a gem and helped me de-ice my car as I didn't have any de-icer which was so thoughtful. I will definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

Warm and welcoming. Quiet surroundings and ideal for setting off on long day walks. Lovely, filling breakfasts sets you up for the day. I slept well and had plenty of room in the shower, which is really good after 15 miles walking through the forest.
