Everything! The location was perfect. Easy to get out and about and close to town but quiet in the countryside at the same time. The cabin was very modern, clean and spacious. Comfortable beds! Love the shower and bathrooms. Used the laundry which was very useful while travelling. It was a nice touch to get some biccies to go with our cup of tea. Thank you Steve for being so accommodating!

Self-catering but with a full working kitchen. Free laundry facilities. BBQ facilities for use if desired. Two minutes from town shops, pub, bakery etc. Lots of birds around - kookaburra, wrens, minors etc. Quiet & relaxing.

The owner left muffins & biscuits. Which is very unusual but great. The grounds were well maintained. It was just a wonderful stay. Many Thankx

Attention to detail - we arrived late afternoon. Not only did host provide tea, coffee, sugar - they also Left us a beautiful fresh Penguin Bakery loaf of bread and a packet of biscuits to have with our cup of tea/coffee. They also gave us a 600ml Milk — most venues leave a tiny tetra pack or some those very tiny round tubs. Location is super, the cabin is beautiful and situated in a great spot. They are putting in a great “camp kitchen/alfresco” place where the bbq is situated and great safe spot for kids to play. A walk is marked to the Big Penguin - and Terry the platypus lives in the creek at the back of the property - he was illusive and we didn’t spot him. Bird life is great with several kookaburras and a number of small birds frequenting the garden.

The cabin was excellent, and Stephen was an amazing host. The cabin was very well insulated, so lovely and warm and dry as we had rainy weather during our stay. Very private and relaxing and a good base to explore the north of Tassie.

Quiet, pretty location, friendly welcoming host. Everything you could need - crumpets, butter, jam, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, toiletries- so thoughtful! Bed super comfortable- best I’ve slept in in a long time whilst away from home. He had heater on when we arrived. Would definitely stay again!
