Excellent location, very close to public transport (rail & buses). Short walk to seafront & pier. Room was comfortable with shower & toilet, breakfast was good, staff were pleasant.

The location is very good, very close to Penarth station and a few minutes from Cardiff by train. The room was very comfy and clean.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable memory foam mattress, room was quiet, pizza and breakfast were excellent (extra charge) great Vegetarian options. Lovely traditional decor in rooms with origional features.

The staff were very peasant and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent (although it was a shame we couldn't book this beforehand). The hotel is well located in the centre of Penarth, and has the characterful historic features of a Victorian villa. I asked for a first floor room at the back, and was that is what we got, which meant it was nice and quiet. It was also a massive room, with plenty of space for a table and chairs in the bay window. Lots of potential to make this a really interesting and special place.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The old styling of the buildings, the random decor and the massive ceilings were fantastic. It was very charming. I had a wonderful time. The location was great. It was clean and the breakfast was delicious

Ideally situated in Penarth, its in the heart of the nightlife and just a short walk to the train station. Room was larger than most doubles we've staying in.

My son and I needed a room each for a one night stay close to friends who were also staying in Penarth; the Glendale Hotel provided that.
