So peaceful and tranquil we didn’t want to leave. Felt like we were a million miles away from everything, grounds are slightly dated but so pretty and if you are wanting a holiday where you do nothing but relax then this is the place to book. Managers were lovely too. I feel like winter would be the perfect time to go, stay inside by the fire, jump in the warm spa, rug up and go on the kayaks…bliss.

I loved the well supplied kitchen, the wood fire, the spa, and the beautiful location. Kangaroos and birds everywhere. As the property mentions, it is a long way out of town, so make sure you have everything you need. We did get ourselves into a bit of a pickle, and the manager (Rob) very kindly helped us out, which we very much appreciated. Would highly recommend this property if you want a peaceful place to stay.

Beautiful location on a lake surrounded by trees and bush land. Chalet was very clean with good amenities and basic supplies. A long way from any shops so you need to bring supplies with you. Would definitely recommend.

It felt completely private and there is enough distance from other chalets that privacy wasn’t an issue at all

Amazing relaxing holiday! We stayed in the Kingfisher Chalet- it was very private and there was a lovely view of the lake. We were very impressed with all aspects of the accommodation, and all the thoughtful extras included (hot spa, coffee machine, canoes available, swimming pontoon in the lake, food scrap bin for the chickens, toiletries, extra pillows/blankets).
