I would rate the hotel staff as the primary asset. All of them -- from the reception, housekeeping, dining room -- were very helpful, responsive, and with positive attitudes in interacting with guests. This is highly appreciated. The hotel location is also very convenient to places that we wanted to visit. It was near bus stops and metro stations, as well as to restaurants and other conveniences. We also thought very well of the facilities. The room amenities were of high standards, and we appreciated the daily cleaning. The amenities in the lobby, such as reading materials, proximity to the dining room, helped make our stay a positive experience. We highly recommend this hotel to others.

Very nice breakfast, comfortable spacious room, kind and helpful staff. The location is 10/10. 2 different metro stations within less than 5' walk. Great spots to eat, drink and shop closeby. The room has Nespresso machine and Marshall speaker, adding to the total quality.

This hotel is very well located. It is very close to lovely bars and restuarants. It is close to public transport and many famous landmarks are within walking distance from the hotel. The staff offer a very warm welcome on your arrival.

Charming hotel with lots of character and unique styling. Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located in a vibrant neighbourhood, near metro lines and bus routes connecting you to the rest of central Paris.

The hospitality at Le General was one of the best we have ever experienced in 30 years of traveling. Especially Mr. Ibrahim was of chosen friendly- and helpfulness in every matter. Our room was of typical parisian smallness, which didn’t disturb us at all since we are Paris "habitués", but charming, neatly designed and the bed was very comfortable – special mention to the pillow which was also one of the most comfortable compared even to some very renowned hotels around the world. Last but not least the bathroom was very nicely designed, modern, spacious and clean with excellent washing/body products by the brand L'Occitane which we happen to like a lot. Loved everything about my stay at Le General. The room: was up there with the 4* standards, clean, spacious, well lit with natural light, not to mention, a coffee machine in the room as well. The Location: was perfect for me, in one of the coolest places in Paris (Les Marais). The Staff: one of the best I dealt with ever. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, really made me feel like home. The free drinks and pastries were a surprise bonus and a delight. They also had a gold little toy duck 🦆 in the room, and they wanted me to have it for my daughter. 😻 Thank You ! Overall for me this was one of the best experiences with a hotel and its staff I had. Mercy Beaucoup !
