The staff is so lovely and accommodating, thanks again to all the guys from the reception! Unique design, every detail thought through, great branding. Rooms are on the smaller size, typical for the city, but comfortable enough and you actually have space to open your luggage which is endemic in Paris. Loved the location in the 10th, the neighborhood is lively, walking distance to everything you want to see/do, but removed from all the tourism. Not for those who want their disneyland paris experience. Definitely would come back.

The location is amazing! It took us 20 min to any major sightseeing spot + super close to the Gare du Nord. The room was small but had everything you’d need, like a coffee machine, a kettle and a safe. A pleasant surprise was a Diptyque cosmetics in the shower. The staff was very friendly.

Clean and stylish hotel, conveniently located, friendly staff. Our room was small (12-14 sq.m.) but had everything for a comfortable stay (including a nespresso machine and a kettle) and a nice view on the street, so we could enjoy a morning cup looking out of a window. The bed and pillows were good, the sturdy bed tray was a nice touch. One of the biggest advantages for me was the location - walking distance to East train station (Gare de l'Est) but not too close to be shabby and ridden with typical train station NPCs. It is also easy and pleasant to walk from the hotel to city center attractions (e.g. Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Pompidou center, etc.) and many lovely restaurants. When we were choosing a hotel I was: a) also considering a big chain hotel with similar prices and sq.m. for a standard double room because even though they are boring and tacky I know what to expect there; b) nervous that lots of carpeting in the room decor will equal to slightly dirty surfaces; In the end I decided to go with Hôtel Château d'Eau because at least it has character and soul. Happy I chose it because we enjoyed the design and everything was perfectly clean, would recommend it to a friend and would come back myself.

I initially hesitated to book this hotel due to negative reviews about safety in the area and concerns that it might feel cheap because of its unique design. I even considered canceling my reservation. However, I’m so glad I gave it a chance because my experience was completely different! For the price, the service and quality are excellent. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with everything in perfect order. The location is central, with a metro station nearby, and Le Marais is within walking distance. The area felt safe, and the staff were very friendly.
