Very friendly people in a friendly neighbourhood. This was either the third or fourth time I have stayed here, and I think I will continue to do so. This is the most beautiful part of Paris, not because it is pretty, but it gives the lie to the idea that Paris is not friendly: in these eastern districts you are beautifully treated in the hotels and the restaurants and the cafés. The Aïda Marais is absolutely part of that.

Very close to Republique station where you can go to major tourist attractions with metro. The room was clean with a hot shower.
