Good to stay here again at the end of our continental train trip. So handy for Gare de Lyon. Spent Sunday morning walking around the Bastille district, up to the Seine and back. Came across two fab large street markets, and walked along the Paris equivalent to the New York Highline (an earlier version I guess than NY, not so well designed, but very pleasant).

The room provided everything we needed and the price was extremely reasonable, when you consider that this is central Paris. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and we have previously paid much more for poorer beds! The hostel was generally quiet. Breakfast was fine and well organised for processing many people efficiently. The location was pleasantly quiet whilst being within easy walking distrance of sights of central Paris. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

I liked the location. Just a few minutes walk to Gare d Lyon. There are also a couple of Metro stations nearby. There are lots o food options nearby.

No frills at all (& certainly no tassels) Basic room with geat shower cubicle & a comfortable enough bed (sadly no Egyptian cotton bed linen……) Shared toilet on the floor above. Everything was immaculately clean & well maintained. All staff could not have been more helpful & polite. Breakfast is a cup of machine coffee, baguette, butter & jam, not a banquet but I did not expect anything. Location is great & within easy access the main sites. All in all a comfortable little stay.

The room is very tiny and the in the room you only find a shower and a sink. There is no toilet
