It was the highlight of my trip to Calabria. I have stayed for 4 days. Parghelia wasn't on my list i was planning to stay in Tropea until i found the hotel located a short walking distance to Tropea but staying still in a quieter area far away from mass tourism. I have absolutely loved loved the place and staying in Villino Eleonora along with Alessandro hospitality made my trip more special.Villa is a historical building surrounded by garden which is a pleasure to walk around and admire. There are three beaches by walking distance where you can easily set beach towel or sunbed with umbrella. Beach wasn't crowdy and they are facilities available if you want a snack od drink. Beautiful sunset with Stromboli in the background. There are a couple of Pizzerias and one great restaurant in the heart of the city centre. Room where i have stayed had high speed WiFi, air con, everything was spotless clean and a terrace where you could see Tropea in the distance. Everyday i was served a delicious breakfast: egg dish, bowl of fruits and bread with homemade jams. I am sure i will book it again.

Everything, fabulous accommodation set in a beautiful garden with views of the sea and the island of Stromboli. Excellent breakfasts and friendly, welcoming hosts.

Absolutely sensational stay here for the last 5 days. Alessandro and his family/staff went well beyond making us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious (a different egg dish with fresh cut fruit, juice and coffee of choice each day), the bed was firm but very comfortable and the room was air conditioned. A short walk into Parghelia where there were nice restaurants and some small markets. The beach was near but it requires a long walk down steep hills. Tropea was a 5 minute train ride from Parghelia which was considerably cheaper than the taxi which was €20 each way. If you have mobility issues, you will probably need a car to get around. As mentioned by everyone, Alessandro made us feel like friends and his establishment deserves every 5 star review it gets. Charming, rustic and comfy and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much for everything!

We loved our stay at Villiono Eleanora! The host was so welcoming and accommodating. The highlight was definitely the private breakfast served in the garden. Highly recommend staying here- it’s close to so many amazing beaches!

Fantastic Host and team Gorgeous Home and location. Room with private terrace was perfect. Lovely private breakfasts every morning. The place to stay if you want true hospitality. Parghelia is quiet with nice choice of bars / Restaurants Vibrant Gorgeous Tropea a short drive away. Relax on the unbelievable beaches or enjoy the many activities on offer. Grazie Alessandro for the best holiday we ever had in Italy !

The guesthouse is located on the estate around the main historic villa. The villa is very beautiful and stylish, and the rooms are located in pavilions in the adjoining beautiful garden. Everything is very clean and the host is friendly and helpful. The shower in my room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was served to the room table in the garden and included also some high quality homemade products. There is also parking space in front of the villa, spaced enough. It is good guesthouse even for longer stay as a base for sightseeing and relaxing around in beautiful Calabria. It is located about 2-2,5 km from Tropea and I walked to this city at the morning after breakfast. It was pleasent experience.
