We loved the feeling there. The swimming pool area is great and the staff is very nice and helpful. The bedroom itself was big with a nice terrace.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights mid October. We flew to/from Reggio Di Calabria. The train to/from Parghelia takes around 1hr 45mins for £6.50 each/each way - the trains are like travelling first class compared to the UK. Porto Ulisse Hotel is lovely, the staff are very friendly and always happy to help. This is a family run hotel so you can expect a personal service every day. Thank you Aldo, Anna Mimmo & Romana. The breakfast was continental and plentiful, it was served every day till 10am. There is also a bar onsite with great choice & prices. Our room had everything needed for a comfortable stay and the balcony was huge. The pool itself is small but perfect for the size of hotel with plenty of sunbeds & canopys. The upper terrace we loved the most, - Beautiful views out to sea, the marina and Tropea centre. 200/300 meters from the hotel is Restaurant Da Tonino's again a family run business. We dined here twice during our stay. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and the staff again are very friendly. This nearest beach (Shark Bay) is 5/6 mins walk down hill, however there is a free shuttle bus that drops off/pick up at certain times of the day. The beach has a bar - staff friendly and great prices for drinks. The beach is beautiful - white sand & clear blue waters. If you walk across the beach for 5 minutes, this brings you to the marina where you can sit at the marina yacht club bar from there you can walk to the centre & Santa Maria church (a must). The hotel bus drops off/pick up in the centre of Tropea at certain times for 3 euros each. Which is a bonus when an uber is around 20 euros each way. Tropea centre has a great vibe in the evenings, the piazza had a 4 piece band playing which had everyone singing and dancing. We found a restaurant called That's Amore on our 2nd evening, the atmosphere and food was so good we returned again the following 2 evenings.

The biggest strength of this family hotel is the staff. The guests are very well taken care of and it was noticeable that every guest is welcome. The surroundings of the hotel and the pool area are wonderful, you can sunbathe and relax there all day. The rooms are very clean - cleaned every day. In that hotel, even the cleaners really smile😊, thanks to them. The walls and ceiling are very transparent, but we took it with humor because we usually wake up early and mornings were very beautiful. It was very quiet at night. . It is not possible to take into account the wishes of all guests, but in this house they did their best - the host immediately solved every little problem. Thank to the host Aldo and his staff for a wonderful holiday!

The hosts and staff were wonderful and extremely friendly and accommodating. The pool and adjoining bar/bistro were beautiful, as was the location and proximity to gorgeous beaches, historic Old Town. The restaurants in the area were amazing! ♡♡♡

Clean held property with friendly staff and great breakfast (8€). The terrace offers a great view and a bar. Nice pool area and sun deck. Large private balcony/terrace with seating in each room.

Beautiful location. Great views across to Tropea . Beautiful sun terrace and swimming pool, set in a tropical garden . Located in Parghelia close to a gorgeous beach a short walk away. Lovely village , nice restaurants nearby and train station offering access to the rest of region. Supermarket and Chemist . Everything you need .

A great place! The hotel has a terrace with a pool and a fantastic view on Tropea and Stromboli volcano. The owner is very helpful, they serve very good breakfast. Great sandy beaches are walking distance. We have been coming back to this place for many years and have always been very happy there.

Aldo & Anna and staff where amazing !!! We arrived realy late and still received awarm welcome !!. Our daughter ended up meeting us at the property but booking was only for 2 people. Aldo quickly found us a 2 bedroom unit wich made our stay very comfortable. The property is beautiful and location is great. Aldo and Anna also assisted my daughter with a last minute stay in tropea at their sister hotel also a very beautiful Hotel. Cant say enough good things about Aldo & Anna and staff they have gone above and beond to make our vacation amazing !! they became our frinds very quickly and we are looking forward to staying at their propertys again very soon. Thanks for everything !!!
