The fine print
Please be informed that the Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Year's Eve (December 31) dinners are mandatory and included. On these nights all the resort restaurants, apart from the Gala Buffet, will be closed. Room service will not be available either. Please contact the hotel for further information.Please note that Moorea is a 7-minute flight or 30-minute catamaran ride from Tahiti. Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa is located on the north coast of Moorea, between Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. It is 20 minutes' drive from Moorea Airport and 25 minutes' drive from the Moorea Ferry Dock.Please contact the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa reservations team 2 days in advance, to organise transfer from either the ferry dock or Moorea Airport (for a fee of XPF 1600 per person, each way, charged at check-out). You can contact the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.If travelling by car from the airport or ferry dock, turn right onto the main road until you find the road sign with the hotel name. The Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa is located just 15 minutes by car from the village of Maharepa.Please note that due to renovations, our swimming pool as well as the Rotui Bar & Grill will be closed between the 08th January 2024 and will reopen on the 20th March 2024.Rest assured, all our other outlets will be operating as usual, ensuring you have a wide range of options to enjoy during your stay.
As a result of the temporary closures, the property will offer a resort credit of XPF 5,000 per day/per room during the renovation period to be used at the property’s open restaurants, bars and spa.

We booked an overwater bungalow for 1 night at this resort.We were lucky with the location on the lagoon as not all the bungalows provide unblocked view of the ocean or lagoon,some are facing back towards the beach and the hotel.Staff from the poolbar was very welcoming and 1 of the guys working at the pool and beach immediately noticed we just arrived and gave us all the info we needed for a perfect stay at the resort.The resort has kayaks,paddleboards and snorkel masks available for all guests free of charge so you can explore the lagoon.There is a tour and activity desk onsite and we booked up a snorkeling trip to another lagoon for snorkeling with sharks and rays.Breakfast in the morning was good with a great variety of food and drinks.

We had the over water bungalow and what a treat it was! We loved it. The beds were super comfortable and a nice large room. We loved the glass floor area in our room to watch the fish at night. Kayaking was great even though we were only allowed around the periphery of the hotel swimming zone which means you could do the entire thing in about 15 mins. The lagoon is great for snorkelling and we even got to see some sharks. The restaurant and bar staff were great too. The food at the restaurant was not over priced and pretty much the same as other restaurants outside. The traditional dishes were fantastic (the burger not so much). They refill the mini bar fridge which is nice considering you’re paying so much for the place and everything on Mo’orea is so expensive.

Excellent staff. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond. Great snorkeling with a wonderful private beach and the pool area was great too. Free use of standup paddling boards, kayaks and snorkeling gear. Also, the minibar was complimentary and got refilled everything , which was a great service.

We booked a garden villa with a pool. We stayed in room 50, just of the beach. The plunge pool is private but the front decking can be seen by people walking past as there is only a hedge separating it from the path. The drinks in the mini bar are complimentary which is a nice touch. The stand out feature at the hotel if the hotel reef if you enjoy snorkelling. Just wade into the perfectly calm sea of the hotel beach and you will see plenty of fish, in fact more than we saw than in the snorkelling boat tour we did.
