The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Beginning 1 July 2016, as directed by the Langkawi Municipal Council, a local government Tourism Promotion Fee would be applicable per room per night.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The setting is magnificent - rainforest on the seashore with interesting wildlife to be spotted (e.g. monkeys and flying squirrels). Watching monkeys fooling around at the resort was probably the highlight of our 3-week long Malaysia trip. While the resort stretches a couple of hundred metres along the shore, 24/7 electric buggy service is available to ferry guests around if needed. The rooms are spacious. The food offering is quite good and mostly quite reasonably priced. The setting for the Thai restaurant is amazing.

The property and rooms were immaculate. The attention to cleanliness and comfort was top notch. I messaged ahead to let the property know it was a special anniversary and they went to the trouble of putting a floral towel design on our bed and left us a cake and some fruit in the room.

The location was good because it was under the trees, the cable car and waterfall walk wasn't far away. The breakfast was excellent, the facilities were good, the staff were very helpful. The pool was good and we enjoyed the activities we booked. There was also plenty of woldlife around the resort including, monkeys, hornbills, squirrels, lemurs, monitor lizards, eagles and otters.
