Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the hotel was super clean and modern. Bar drinks and food were perfect choices. We hired a car and there was ample parking.

Excellent location, super friendly staff, very clean, appreciated the free welcome beverage, free snack box in the room and daily free popcorn. The pool and surrounding area very well kept and attended to. Fabulous breakfast buffet.

The Bayou is s super chill hotel a short walk from the beach. Its main feature is the shallow pool and bar/restaurant. Its clean and the service is super attentive. The welcome drinks were a nice touch.

The location was actually good as it was not on the main strip next to the beach, so it was a more quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Also the hotel is not closed-up and air conditioned all over. The doors on the ground floor fold wide open in front and back which creates a great island feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful!! Breakfast is great and I recommend using the option as Island restaurants are expensive, unless you go where the locals go.
