We could not easily locate the villa. Was quite a big task. However on reaching there, its heavenly. Just as shown in the Pictures. Huge property, larger than life rooms, great location, No sea view, but beach is hardly few steps away. We wish to come back to this place again. clean beach, we spend few hours in the night on the rocks, just star gazing & hearing the waves.

Beautiful old colonial style house and tropical established garden. So much character. Away from the touristy strip and seconds from the beach. Go left over the rocks for the better beach spot with much nicer views. Staff super helpful. We had a few issues; hot water, washing machine, leak etc and they responded promptly to help fix. A decent discount was given for anything not fixable.

We loved the rustic secluded location that was close to the beach. We were visiting with family so the enclosed large garden was fantastic. A highlight was dusky leaf langurs spending the afternoon and evening in the garden. Owners were great, washing machine was out of action and they paid for our washing to be done at their own cost. Overall I would stay again. If you are adverse to a little bit of nature this property may not be for you. It is very normal in Malaysia to have house geckos 🦎.

The place is very peaceful,location is far from traffic giving and just a stone throw away from the beach. Room was very cozy and bed was very comfort.. Everything excellent.

The whole villa is comfortable. Full of greens, the distance to the beach is just a few steps away.

I selected the location for 2 reasons, near the beach and it has parking space. The beach was about 5 - 10 metres from the entrance, and there was ample parking on site. Rumah Jah reminds me of an old colonial bungalow, with a matured garden. As in all old properties, you would notice some aging. However this just adds to the charm. Having the bungalow to ourselves was definitely a plus. There was a balcony area upstairs, but since we only returned to the unit at night, we preferred to stay in the dining and hall area. Facilities wise, it had a large fridge, microwave and even a washing machine. Rumah Jah can comfortabilit sleep 8 adults. What really makes me want to go back to Rumah Jah is the hospitality of the team managing the place. Knowing that we would arrive late, they had setup the unit, by leaving the lights and AC on. Keys pick up and drop off was a breeze, and we did not communicate much with the management, because everything we needed had been taken care off. I would recommend Rumah Jah, for families, up to a group of 8.
