Lovely chill hostel vibe just off the main road so it’s quiet, staff were all very friendly and helpful. Free cold water and coffee was a bonus. We stayed in one of the private huts and the shower was warm and powerful - which you don’t normally get for hostel prices! AC and a Fan in the room was much appreciated

The Place IS Very Nice. The vibe. I stay in the Female Dorm, and everything was Perfect. Quiet and Very clean. The best Place to sleep I ever had.

I stayed at Gecko Guesthouse for 3 nights, and it was truly amazing. Friendly people, a beautiful location, and incredibly clean. Definitely the place to be in Langkawi!

So much love for this place! We had the best time there. We booked a private room with aircon and our own bathroom, it was clean and spacey. We liked the organized tours and enjoyed meeting other people in the lobby. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse is located 5 minutes by footwalk from Cenang Beach. Our highlight were all the cute cats 😻 as a big cat lover it was my personal heaven! We definitively will come back anytime.

The Dorms were perefect and clean. Great food options and bars nearby. Plenty of Vegan friendly options too. Further the parking was also safe, toilets and bathrooms were clean, hot water was availbale at all times. Overall a value for money.

Amazing staff, super friendly and loved the communal area. The room was clean and comfortable, the aircon worked very well. Only a short walk to the beach. Cannot fault our stay, we had the best time at Gecko!

The room was very nice and spacious, with both air-con and an over-head fan! The bed was also very comfy! All the staff were lovely and friendly, and the reception area was social with lots of tables and chill music vibes! The free drinking water was also a great bonus! The location was ideal, lots of restaurants/shops, super near to the beach and scooter/moped rentals nearby to access the whole island easily for a very good prices… or alternatively taxis were easy to get. Another great bonus was all the friendly cats roaming around - there are LOADS and they are all so cute! I would 100% recommend this hostel to others and will definitely return if i ever find myself in Langkawi again! Thank you Gecko Guesthouse :)
