The fine print
Please note the following house rules:
1. The use of towels outside the guesthouse is not allowed. Towels exclusively for outside use can be provided upon request. Beach towels are offered free of charge.
2. Washing clothes in the bathroom and cooking in the room are not allowed.
3. Smoking inside the room is strictly not allowed.
4. Visits from friends and relatives are not permitted on night sleep time 10pm-06am.
5. Night silence starts from 10pm.
6. PHP 100 will be charged per hour for late check out.
7. Guests are required to replace the towels and bedding if they contaminate them with henna.Beach towels are offered free of charge.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Even though this place is near the centre of Panglao, it was very quiet as it was set back from the Main Street. The room was very well thought out and had lots of shelves for storing luggage. The staff were always friendly. The WiFi was an excellent speed. There is a free washing machine to use here (you just need to buy detergent), and lots of space to dry your clothes outside. There are free beach towels for hire. The beds were very comfy. The shower water pressure and volume was excellent.

Good location near the central road; 5-6 min walk to the beach; lots of cafes in the area. Good size room; hot water, aircon, WiFi sufficient for video calls.

The location was very convenient The staff was friendly The room had the basic amenities needed- AC, fan, fridge, kettle, hanger etc Great advantage to have a spinner and washer in the common area

Great budget hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. They made me feel very welcome and even sent a message once I left to ask for any improvements. They have everything you need: Hot shower, AC, fridge,a good hairdryer.and as a bonus a washing machine which you can use for free! As a solo traveller the location was perfect and wasn't too loud at night (keeping in mind how central it is). Good restaurants around and breakfast places which are tasty and open early (at 6AM, in case you have an experience booked, which starts early). Would definitely stay again.

Very good value for money. The room and the bathroom is enough large, very clean, the terrace is nice bonus. There is a possibility to do laundry for free. The beds are ok, the pillows could ne better. The staff is super kind.

Alona Gecko Inn is a great place to stay in Alona. The beach is about 5-6 minutes from the inn and there are plenty of restaurants, washing service and shops around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is well sized, the bathroom is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Every room has a nice terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view of the garden.

I didn't know they had breakfast.i liked the location, close enough for an older guy to walk to everything including the beach.
