Lovely staff, Ravi and his team were always available and happy yo help. The only noise at night were the frigs and cicadas outside - very peaceful. There is a very steep hill to get to the guesthouse but it was fun doing it on a motorbike

This guesthouse stands out with its unique design and construction, seamlessly integrated into the forested terrain. Guests are treated to breathtaking views of a pristine forest, clear blue skies above the ocean, and the peaceful sight of the sea stretching into the horizon. The tranquil sounds of chirping birds and insects create a soothing atmosphere, especially in the early morning hours. The suite itself is incredibly comfortable, well-equipped, and immaculately clean. The highlight is the interior, featuring elegant wooden wall panels and flooring. The backyard pool is a standout feature, offering a peaceful spot to unwind. Above all, the mattress and pillows are of the highest quality, providing an exceptionally restful sleep experience. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any needs. Special thanks to Mr. Ravi, who not only offers valuable local insights but also acts as an informal tour guide. Mr. Ragu, the owner, goes above and beyond by personally meeting guests, offering useful tips on places to visit and dine, and checking in regularly to ensure everything is perfect. He even generously offered his Myvi car for our use at a very reasonable rate. Overall, our stay was exceptional, filled with memorable experiences that made for a perfect conclusion to 2024.

Nasi lemak was very good. Good coffee too. Also had a good coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was generally good but there’s no variety. Same food everyday. The room came with a a very large garden and pool which was quite unexpected. The photo in booking.com does not do it justice. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed some kind of VIP treatment by Ravi and his team. This was awesome and helped a lot. Furthermore the location close to the sea was great. The view from the hill over the sea was incredible. The breakfast was always the perfect start in the day.

The room is amazing, with private pool, spacious and all modern equipment. The staff is very kind (thanks Javi), and the location is great. Beautiful view on the jungle and on the sea for breakfast time.

Our stay at Woodcookies was great- the property was large and spacious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff - we bought fish at the local market and the team at Woodcookies gutted,prepared and cooked them for us on a barbecue. The staff worked tirelessly to make us feel welcome and special during our stay. They also lent us mopeds to get up and down the steep hill to the property
