The hostel is located on the outskirts of the town, far from the busy bars. The owners were welcoming, the room was large, and the bed super comfortable. Having a shared kitchen was a plus for us, it has everything you need. The garden is very nice with lots of quiet seating areas.

Beautiful and welcoming hostel only 10 minute walk from the main street of Palomino. German and his family were so kind, always happy to offer their help and we really appreciated all their local knowledge. The hostel itself has a lovely feel, we liked being tucked away from the main town and enjoyed relaxing in all it's chill out spaces amongst the greeney. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful place! The design is beautiful and there are great little nooks to hang out in. The couple who runs the property Lau and Ger are incredible. They provided lots of information and a bird watching tour.

We had an amazing time at this hostal. It's in a very quiet location on the edge of town, but only 5 mins walk to the main street for cafes and bars. The hostal is like a little jungle oasis with various seating areas located amongst the dense, colourful foliage. The hostal is made from bamboo on two levels. We had a double room with private bathroom which was comfortable and very good value. There's a communal kitchen for the residents' use. The best thing of all was the host, Ger, who was the kindest, most helpful and lovely person, who also happens to speak fluent English. We went on a birdwatching tour around Palomino with him, which was wonderful. He is so enthusiastic and with his guidance we saw around 40 different birds. Ger also tells a fascinating story of the emerging eco/sustainable tourism of the area. He also organised a trip to the Sanctuario de Flamencos for us, which was amazing.

Beautiful and honest hostel located in one of the nicest towns on the Colombian coast. The hospitality service was exceptional; German was very kind and professional, providing us with excellent treatment and guiding us to ensure we had the best experience in town. Staying there felt like spending time in a warm, family-like environment. I highly recommend this place.

Do the bird watching tour! We are not really into birds, but we found it very interesting and we saw like 50 species. The host is really enthusiastic in explaining everything and he really inspired us.
