Lovely large clean room with spotless modern bathroom. Great sea view from the rooms large double window. Excellent AC and fan kept the room cool. The balcony was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and huge quantities each day, served on the balcony. A different breakfast each day (dosa, apam,idli, hoppers, fruit, fresh juice, tea/coffee). Late afternoon tea and battered snacks provided each day. A useful shop downstairs. Over the road, then over a few rocks, it is possible to swim just 50m from the room - fantastic! The main beach is about a km up the road but I was happy with nipping over the wall. Very friendly and kind people running the place. Laxmi speaks excellent English.

The property is less than a year old. The room was spacious with a large ensuite shower room, the bed was firm ish and large. Light flooded in due to the amount of large glazing. We also like the large balcony overlooking the seafront.

The hosts were very nice and helpful 😊Lakshmi spoke very good English which made it easier to communicate.We had quite a nice stay.The breakfast was ok.A bit of a walk to get food and a sandy beach.

A very pleasant stay. Exceptional hosts, treated us like family. Stayed at the property for 4 days. Location was good. Food was excellent. Rooms were neat and well maintained. But the hosts made the overall experience memorable.

Appu's Nido is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea just north of the centre of Cherai beach. The room was clean, spacious and cool, with fantastic views out of huge windows, but with curtains for shade and privacy. Lakshmi and her family were incredible hosts, with lots of fantastic advice about the area and made us feel completely at home. This was both our first time in India and we will be back! Also don't miss the incredible breakfast, we are both vegetarian and we were fully catered for with delicious south Indian food!

"I had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, being just a stone's throw away from the beautiful beach. The accommodation truly felt like a home away from home. What made our stay even more special was the warm hospitality of the family who shared the place with us. They welcomed us with open arms and treated us like one of their own. We felt so at ease and grateful for their kindness. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming getaway!"

As soon as we arrived, we were treated like family. The family who owns Appu's is so friendly and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was delicious, the room was spacious and very clean. The view of the sea from our room was beautiful. We can't wait to go back ❤️

Clean big room ..its beach front all time breeze gets inside room.Well take cared and good mannered staff.I would definitely love to stay here again on our next back trip. We can enjoy the sea very close..with nice light breeze that make fall asleep ..loved it.
