Vincence is an amazing host, really trying to make you feel welcome and at home. The place is also clean and even though there is no private bathroom, there are 2 good ones with everything you need. It's also within walking distance from the center, and the train station is pretty much across the street.

The owners were both very nice and gave us some helpful information about the city. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were clean, the air conditioning was working fine. It’s worth mentioning that the apartments are on the sixth floor, there is an elevator but it only fits two or three people. Also important to mention is that the bathrooms are separate from the rooms, we didn’t mind this but it could bother some people. There is a Lidl 5 minutes away on foot as well as a pharmacy, which is great. The town center is also pretty close, more or less a 15 minute walk.

The location is very close to the train station and the price was reasonable. 10-15 minutes walk to the main touristic attractions. We stayed 2 nights as 2 people. Room was spacious. We were female travellers and did not have problem with safety even the location was not the best around.

This place is located very near the station--perhaps too near, as that means a longer walk to most other places in town, although it's quite convenient to the Botanical gardens. (Also, across from the gardens, a rather down-to-earth arancini place which somehow got mentioned in the Blue Guide to Sicily and turned out to be reasonably good). The apartment, besides the room, includes a kitchen and has a collection of books including guides to Palermo. Breakfast decent, included yogurt and cereal. Very helpful and friendly staff, when they are there.
