It is an old beautiful mansion turned into a hotel. It is in a "great" location not far from the main Palermo train/bus station (Palermo Centrale), the Ballaro historic market and the rest of the attractions of the city. The room was clean and of a good size. The breakfast hall was just beautiful with an amazing work of art ceiling and the staff friendly.

The hotel is situated in a magnificent old building which was a 7 minute walk from the main rail and coach station. It is within easy walking distance of markets and plenty of shops. On arrival you ring the door bell and the door is then remotely unlocked so you find yourself in a large courtyard. The hotel is on the first floor reached by some fine old stone steps (no lift). We received a warm welcome. Our room was compact and comfortable and quiet. There were no tea/coffee making facilities although there was a coin operated machine with drinks and snacks in the main corridor. Breakfast was in a splendid room with a painted ceiling and a balcony overlooking the street.

The breakfast was amazing, the building lovely. You have a place where you can store your luggage and the location is just amazing, super central.

Location great Close to rail and bus terminal, markets and old Palermo with many places to eat and drink-all an easy walk Breakfast great Staff very helpful and accomodating In this hotel you have your own private bathroom which is separate from your room a few steps down the hall The hotel is in the first floor of an old mansion and hidden behind huge wooden doors which open into an amazing courtyard It is a small hotel with only about 8 rooms I think Was perfect for us

The upgraded room was large and clean. The location is convenient to the train and bus stations and some of the more popular attractions.
