The hostel is in the quiet side of the town with a 5-min walk to the ADO bus station and another 5-10 min to the city center. All facilities are rudimentary, but functioning well (with a shared kitchen, working wifi, and acceptable hot shower (water pressure is presumably weak, but hot water coming out nevertheless). Room and bed are super large; there is only a hanging fan with no A/C. A fan is enough for a good sleep in November. I particularly like that they have a drinking water tank for your refill the bottles Staff is nice and easy.

Great location, walking distance to the bus station. Decent amenities in the kitchen. Lovely staff, the lady doing the cleaning helped us out, which was greatly appreciated!! :)

The location is excellent, close to the ADO bus station where most of us will arrive in Palenque. And then the local Collectivo bus goes from right outside that to the 'Ruinas'. I had a downstairs room to myself which in spite of being near to the front desk was pretty quiet but then I have good ear-plugs. Dorm rooms upstairs looked good. Fantastic hot shower and private 'shared' bathroom and the place never seemed over busy it was almost always free. The shared fridge is big enough for everyone's food which you can get by walking up the hill to a huge and cheap supermarket. There's a big free water bottle in the kitchen and a wok a few pans and cutlery. They even let me keep my towel for a few hours so I could have a shower before getting the 10pm bus to Valladolid. Must go or I'll miss it. 😄
