The location is phenomenal, right in front of the white sandy beach and the bar is really cool. I went during low season and the drifters bar is the place to be (if you're into that scene). The facilities are good, the showers and rooms are well maintained and clean. I was in a 20 bed dorm buty, was big and spacious so you had your own space. The place is safe and they have lockers in the room (need better locks though). Staff in general are friendly and happy to answer your questions

If you want a place on the beach, in a ‘Thai style’ bamboo hut, with hammocks and a pool with a wonderful view of the sea then stay here. The food at the bar is very good for the price compared to all the other places on the beach. And if you want to kite surf the guys who hang on the beach in front offer good lessons for less than half the price of the kite schools.

The location was fantastic, accommodation quirky with great outside space, sofa, table and hammock very close to the swimming pool and a stones throw away from the beach and Bar, all staff polite, helpful and very friendly. A very relaxing stay.

Best location in Paje. Lively, very social, perfect place to meet cool people, good vibes, deliscious food, happy hour cocktails, pretty decent music. Delicate situation involving one of the guest handled by the manager in a careful and discreet manner. Truly safe space for the guests.

I absolutely loved my stay at Drifters! It had such a fun, welcoming atmosphere - the staff were so friendly, and there were lots of fun solo travellers which made it easy to meet new people! It is in a great location on Paje beach, has a lovely pool, delicious food and clean amenities. I will definitely be back 😊

Location location location! You pretty much live on the beach. Facilities are basic but relatively fair value for money given the amazing location. The sea view from the bed of your bungalow and the balcony/terrace is hard to beat. I walked around Paje and nothing compared to Drifters. Extended twice. Came for a few days, stayed till the end. Great social atmosphere and really easy to meet people. Peruvian owner is a traveller himself. Staff is lovely, kind and very polite. Security guards are on watch all the time, and it's very safe. You are free to connect to the speaker and share your love of music. Happy hour for cocktails, and the food is really good! Seafood salad, tuna sandwich, and you must do the BBQ if there is one! Tides go off quite far, so the pool was a treat!!
