Really lovely, friendly staff and nice clean room with information about local history which was a nice touch. Ideal location between the town centre and the university.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff fantastic, we recieved a great welcome, and were amazed by the decor, which we loved. It was our first night as a married couple. And are looking forward to our first anniversary, when will be booking another stay at this fantastic hotel. With the intent on having a night in at their amazing little whiskey bar which has a fantastic selection of the finest on offer. A must for anyone wanting to spend some time in paisley. And highly recommend

The hotel has all the olde world charm of yesteryear. It is a cosy old house built in the 1890’s that has been thoughtfully restored to maintain the authentic period but with modern facilities. The proprietor and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was extensive and if required, a very nice dinner is available. Free parking onsite and only a very short stroll to train station.

Absolutely love the Ashtree the Hotel Mangers and staff were first class. You felt at home straightaway. Meals were top notch. Lovely Scottish breakfast served every morning if you wish to indulge . The chef would always oblige to any changes if required.

It is extremely warm, comfortable and welcoming. We were visiting Paisley under stressful circumstances and were able to return to the hotel at night and enjoy a glass of malt whiskey besides a roaring wood fire.

Breakfast choice excellent. I had full Scottish, yoghurt and fruit. I had dinner twice. Wonderful home cooked cuisine. Lovely little bar, roaring fire in the living room. Friendly and hospitable hosts.
