We were having a weekend break with our girls, and the location directly opposite the beach and the pier was perfect, pool was a nice touch also, food was amazing and staff so attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend and definitely go back if planning a trip down to Paignton again.

I love the character of the hotel ( even tho you got modern hotels next door) the palace stands out..from reception staff,to housekeeping staff ,to dining room and bar staff all excellent…

The swimming pool was excellent and the aromatherapy full body massage was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Christina the masseur and the receptionist at the Health Club. I did not actually ask for a quiet room as it was the last one at the site. However, it was very comfortable despite not having much of a view, it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The music on Tuesday night was good and it was a pity more guests didn’t support it.
