I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday at The Mercure. My favourite hotel in Paignton! Our room was, as always, perfect. Gorgeous views of Paignton seafront. (I never get bored of that magnificent view!) The staff are always very friendly and polite. As a wheelchair user, the hotel is very accessible. I love that I can be so independent at The Mercure!

Breakfast was good but no chocolate croissant. Hash browns and eggs should be readily available with the rest of the items on the hot food. Very nice stay defo recommend

Great property, staff amazing BUT it felt as though the team was being run very lean! Not enough staff on and the ones on were constantly making excuses for a slow service - which wasn’t their fault! Bring in more staff!
