Dog friendly. Lovely, warm and welcoming owners. The hotel felt inviting - we really liked the colour scheme. Great location (really loved seeing the sunrise over the pier from our little window) next to the sea. Good price.

The staff are what makes this hotel great. If the staff weren’t so lovely and accommodating I would have probably scored this a little bit lower but the hosts and the team were brilliant. We were welcomed in by Adam who was very friendly and chatty! He also sorted our breakfast on the first morning which was absolutely delicious!! The dining room was very nice too with self serve cereals and hot drinks. Everyone we met was just fantastic and nothing was too much trouble - I needed to borrow and iron and ironing board as we had wedding outfits to spruce up and they very kindly brought it to us and took it back down after we had finished which was so handy. We were staying with our two year old son who was having typical toddler tantrums and nobody batted an eyelid or made a fuss about the noise which we were incredibly grateful for!! As it is currently Christmas time, the reception and lounge area are decorated really nicely with Christmas trees and other decorations. It felt really festive and lovely in there. The great experiences definitely outweigh the slightly less great here and it was overall a lovely stay.
