Lovely breakfast. Super helpful staff. Angela is a delight. Great location. Very cute vintage building. Easy drive to golf courses. Excellent value for money.

We enjoyed the location so close to the beach and major attractions like the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row with the Fisherman‘s Wharf. The Victorian style house and furnishings are very comfortable, and you feel at home right away. Modern features like key-code locks and individual heating controls in the room make it very convenient. But the biggest asset is Angela herself, who personally helped us line up our sightseeing and really made us feel at home! We will be back!

A really nice place to stay when visiting Monterey - a short Uber ride to the centre, but walkable in 20 minutes or so. The room was nice, and very comfortable albeit a little chintzy, with a bay view. Our friends had a balcony too. Breakfast was nice, freshly cooked and the host Angela even made ours early on the day we were leaving.

Cozy room, friendly host, delicious breakfast (this seems to vary daily, we only stayed for one night and had a avocado crossaint), good coffee. We especially enjoyed the close distance to the sea.
