Super nice! Really cozy , near the sea. The receptionist is really nice! My shoes is dirty, he helps me to clean as new one for free. Really appreciated! If I come to the Monterrey next time , I definitely will stay here again.

I stayed for one night as I was driving down PCH. The hotel was charming and had the feeling of an old English b&b. My room was lovely and had a very comfy bed. I liked the breakfast and found the staff very helpful. The town main street is one block away and had a range of places for dinner. Easy access to the beach and the wonderful 17 mile drive close by.

Beautiful hotel, in a historic building, well equipped and easy to access. Kind and helpful personnel. Delicious breakfast (Greek yogurt with fruits and homemade granola).

We stayed for one night in this hotel on our way across California. Quite authentic small hotel - looks like an old American style summer house. Rooms are small and tired but we enjoyed spending some time with friends in lobby near fireplace. Good for short stay.

Good location near to Lovers cove and the Beach House Restaurant which was very good. Tired decor but everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. Nice to be able to make a drink at anytime and reasonable breakfast although nothing hot.

Loved this hotel. Exceptionally clean . Breakfast was good, homemade granola and yogurt. No hot food. Nice touch of a complimentary glass of wine in the evening

The property was very cool! Super old style but you need to be into that before you go. Everything looked very original. Roll top bath with a separate shower, quirky furniture to match its style and we had wonderful sea views from the top room. So glad we stayed as I personally love this style but could be deemed old fashioned to some. The history behind this house is really cool too. Loved learning about who used to live here and the area before it’s current condition. The breakfast was a bonus. Coffee, plenty of tea selection, juice, pastries and bagels to help yourself plus parfait offered on arrival to the dining area. Not to forget the complimentary glass of wine on arrival. Really nice touch and very appreciated on our stay after travelling up from the coast!
