welcoming me even though I arrived late. There were two heavy carriers, but Roberto was willing to move humorously to our room. A fragrant room, well-organized bed, clean and soft bedding! There was no doubt that it was a home for two people to take care of with all their heart. The breakfast the next morning was also so fresh, delicious and neat. I already miss Roberto and Rebecca for trying to make sure there was nothing missing. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the sunset from the clouds during my stay, but it would have been beautiful from the garden. I asked for dinner and Rebecca treated me with her heart. There was a hot spring nearby, so I went and stayed comfortably. I just want to thank Roberto and Rebecca for helping me leave many memories during my trip to Italy.

Rebecca and Roberto were fantastic hosts, really kind and accommodating. They also gave us some fantastic recommendations of where to visit in the area. Room was well maintained, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the one dinner we had there was also fantastic. Highly recommended staying here if you are visiting Tuscany and Umbria area! Thank you once again Rebecca and Roberto!

The location is ideally placed. Lake trasimeno, Tuscany, Umbria. Close to several very famous places but also lots of surprises, small villages hidden in the middle of a forest where you can admire middle age streets with no crowd. The landscapes are wonderful especially a dusk. Now the location Il Favaio : Well, you could find better but it’s already wonderful. Better means luxurious. Who needs luxury in vacation in the countryside? We need authenticity for this kind of vacation, and Il Favaio excels there. Not only the location is well placed, it’s also very nice. The owners are welcoming like at home. My room was large, nicely furnitures like one can expect in a rural environment. I live in a very artificial country, Luxembourg, and this authenticity was precious to me. The breakfast is astonishing, with almost products from the farm or from very local places in Umbria. The dinner is also breathtaking. I never had such good olive oil nor ham so tender. Rebecca is a 4 stars Cordon bleu, cooking wonderful meals with simple but high quality ingredients. The taste is deep without needing to add complexity in the recipe. Sometimes perfection means simplicity, this is very true for good Italian food. The dining room is nice, wood and stone, with the right music, very cosy atmosphere. Quality is found in such details. Roberto explains well what we have in the plate. He also likes to explain the principle of agriturismo and how the food has been chosen. Again, it’s being very demanding as a customer to find critics in this place. I spent 10 days in Italy and this place was the loveliest. And nights are so quiet, I slept like a baby in a 19th century bed frame.

Hosts are really nice and warm-hearted. They look like loving their job and guests. And the scenery was beautiful and peaceful. Dinner which is made by local ingredients was awesome. I and my husband fall in love the pasta including fish, and the ribeye steak :) Breakfast including handmade salami was so good. I recommend this agriturismo to make your journey perfect!

Fantastic location of the agriturismo. Superb view from the terrace. The swimming Pool makes it all complete. Comfortable room with good airco. We appreciated the small refridgerator. Last but not least the warm welcome by Roberto and Rebecca Who were available for any question one might have. The food that was served was truly delicious.

A great place to stay. Highly recommended! Breathtaking sunsets, very clean rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner. The passion and charm with which Roberto and Rebecca run the Agriturismo Il Favaio cannot be surpassed. They do it with all their heart which even made me shed a tear when saying goodbye. Rebecca and Roberto, you are amazing hosts! We will definitely return! 🇮🇹
