Check-in was easy and I was given a choice of two rooms to stay in. My room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the mountain. The breakfast was good.

Wonderful location with stunning views. Mountain stream running right past the property with fantastic rock pools. Comfortable and tasteful rooms and friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay!

This was our 5 visit to the lodge and it was nice to see old faces ..Elias the barman and his son along with the very generous special of Chicken pie and bobotie. The chips served were among the best we have ever had at a restaurant. We were a bit disappointed in the way our fish were bagged all of them were "frozen" together although I had asked them to be packed two per bag but it would seem that the people gutting the fish do not have any bags available for this purpose. As elderly people it would be nice if there were a couple of benches put around the dams so we could sit whilst we fished at 81 its quite tiring standing for several hours

Since I visited the place the before I knew what to expect in terms of the location and the views , however, I didn't get the chance to spend the night and now that I have - I can say I enjoyed every moment of being there. It was definitely an escape from life for me. And i would definitely be back for another vacation. Thank you so much for your awesome hospitality.

The place was absolutely stunning and very cozy! The staff, were exceptionally friendly and very helpful! Felt like home away from home! Phelani and Elzaan were super amazing! 💯👏
