Situated in the old horse stable with a private terrace and overlooking the garden. These rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a desk and free Wi-Fi.

Attached to the main historic building, these apartments have a seating area, a kitchenette and a private terrace overlooking the private pool and garden. The bathroom comes with a shower. Everything! It was splendid! The estate is gorgeous, the service is world class and the facilities are fit for a perfect holiday. I travelled with my husband and two daughters, who are 11 and 8. They swam, ate and took some leisurely walks. It was beautiful.

The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, helpful and efficient. The Manager, Tessa, was incredibly accommodating and went out of her way to arrange all sorts of extra things that we needed for our stay in the area, including driving us to a wedding, arranging a private dinner for us when we arrived late (even though the restaurant was closed), arranging a hairdresser to come to my room with late notice, upgrading us to the best rooms, arranging a private taxi to and from the airport, amongst other things. I felt like so safe and taken care of. Really exceptional service and care, unlike anything I've experienced before, and I have travelled the world! The food was also outstanding!!

Great breakfast with everything you could possibly want. Served in a very pleasant indoor dining room / lounge because of the weather. Hot coffee and a very good selection of breads. Loved the heaters in the bedroom which really made it warm on a cold night. The lovely hosts welcomed us from the start and we were able to join them, their friends and family for the SA / NZ rugby match (we won!) It is a very special relaxing 'home from home' place to stay.
