I had a small but very clean and reasonably comfortable room, and enjoyed walking to and around the property, central Oxford, and Summertown. I didn’t see another person the whole time I was there which was ok but a bit lonely.

The property was lovely, just a 20-25 minute walk from the city center. The room was quite small but very cosy. the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The property was clean and quiet; checking in and out was easy. We stayed for the weekend and we were happy with our stay!

This sounded more appealing than it turned out to be. Perfectly functional accommodation created from a Victorian type substantial house, well located and with its own parking area. In good proximity to amenities of Summertown, and good for my purposes at the time.

The location worked very well for me, given its proximity to where I needed to be during the business trip to Oxford. The room was clean, and the bathroom was modern and well-appointed. The check-in and check-out process went seamlessly, even without a typical reception desk. While not in the centre of Oxford, it's also easily accessible by bus. The shops in Summertown are also a short walk away.
