The hotel is in an unbeatable location in Oviedo - across the road from the historic old town and one block away from the lively, cider house filled Gasocona Street. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The view of the San Pelayo Monastery from my hotel window was stunning. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the staff at the Gran Regente were professional, friendly and very accommodating. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Location was perfect right beside old town and around the corner from all the restaurants, staff were very helpful and the parking was very safe and secure.

On arrival front of staff were not that friendly - rather snappy in dealing with us. We asked for a room at the back of the hotel - given one but not that happy to do so. Room was quiet at night. Breakfast had a good selection - aimed at business rather than tourists. Hotel within 10 minutes walk to the busier central area, plenty of cafes along the way - at night time a great cider vibe only a street away with LOTS of people still out enjoying themselves just before midnight!

The lobby has about 7 steps. Carrying a suit case and not receiving help from hotel personnel it’s a deal breaker.

Well situated: at walking distance of attractions: cathedral, tourism office, monastery Many restaurants were close by Parking belonging to the hotel and accessible with the lift - very convenient with suitcases!

Very well equipped hotel in a great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable and very quiet. The perfect way to start our Camino. Very competitive price.
