Our experience at Tarentaal Guest Farm was absolutely magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Namibia. From the moment we arrived, Piet and Mariana Gouws made us feel like part of their family, offering a warm welcome that set the tone for our entire stay. Their genuine hospitality and passion for their beautiful farm truly made the difference. The guesthouse itself is a peaceful oasis, with beautifully decorated rooms that were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The garden and surroundings are simply stunning, offering a perfect blend of tranquillity and nature. We enjoyed many relaxing moments here, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm. What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts. Piet’s knowledge of the local area was invaluable, and he was always eager to share interesting stories and tips to make our trip even better. Mariana’s cooking was a highlight of each day – delicious, hearty meals that were always prepared with love. Dining with the other guests around a communal table felt like sharing a meal with old friends. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the typical tourist spots, with incredible hosts who treat you like family, we can’t recommend Tarentaal Guest Farm highly enough. Thank you, Piet and Mariana, for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing... It was an absolutely great experience. We loved our apartment , garden and everything around it. But the best was the feeling that we were a part of a family for a while. We loved the time spent with Pete and Marianna...all the stories and the super delicious food. We will have these great memories forever. Thank you again for letting us enjoy your beautiful piece of paradise.

Everything!!! The hosts (!!!), the animals, the distance to Etosha, the rooms, the food, the garden area, having dinner with all guests, the farm drives, the feeling of being part of the family

Tarentaal Guest Farm is a beautiful and well maintained property. Our hosts, Piet and Marianna were very warm and welcoming. The rooms and common areas were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated, and we were very comfortable during our stay. Piet shared is abundant knowledge of the local area and was helpful in providing information and suggestions for the rest of our time in Namibia. The meals prepared by Marianna were delicious and plentiful and she was very accommodating to meet our needs.

We loved the owners’s hospitality, the quietness of the location, the beautiful gardens and the confortable room. Piet and his wife are absolute caring people and they made us feel so welcome in their home. It really felt home away from home. Each dinner was an opportunity to meet with the other guests while listening to Piet’s stories. We learned to much about life in Namibia in these few days while sharing delicious meals. We even had the pleasure to participate to our first Namibian brai!! We were blessed to have found this beautiful guesthouse in Booking!

Diner was the best we had in Namibia. The owners our very very welcoming and helpful, the room was super spacious. We received a nice picnic as breakfast for our way to Etosha. The garden is beautiful.
