The property was well situated, spotlessly clean and spacious enough for two of us but for us the star of the show was the big covered balcony with garden and sea views which is where we spent a lot of time relaxing, eating and stargazing. The host was lovely, she chatted with us whenever we met her and even offered us freshly picked pears from her own garden. Crisp white linen and soft white towels were supplied, the bed was very big, the hot water plentiful and always available and the bathroom was very modern and well appointed. Pretty much everything had been thought of including cold water waiting in the refrigerator, locally sourced shower gel, shampoo and soap, extra toilet roll, sewing kit, tooth care package, shower hat, air conditioning, tv with a good reception and at least 10 channels (I checked although I didn’t watch it), hairdryer, extra bedding, room safe, coffee machine and some pods etc for it, a drying rack on the balcony, great WiFi and even a notepad in case it was needed. The kitchen, as advised, was only for light meals or snacks so pots and pans were limited but all other kitchen equipment was supplied with the notable exception of a frying pan as frying is not allowed in the apartment. The beach is literally a few minutes down hill walk away and the nearest small supermarket 5 minutes or so away. My purpose for being there was to scuba dive and Athos Dive Centre was about 4 kms away from the apartment. Parking was on the road although there was a small area where cars could be parked further up the road but we never had a problem finding a space. The apartments also had a shared terrace with tables and chairs for use for socialising which could be covered if it rained. The busier and touristy town centre was about 20 - 30 minutes walk away depending how fit you are but paid parking is available there so you don’t have to walk.

We found at the Irini guesthouse an exceptional host, with very good accommodation conditions, daily cleaning, the room equipped with everything you need, with answers to any question and with the kindness specific to the Greeks. The panoramic terrace across the street is great for a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. On leaving, Irini also offered us specific gifts for which we thank her very much! I Strongly recommend! Efcharisto poly!

Wonderful breakfast, wonderful hosts. This place is a bit up to the hill, which serves the great purpose ini the means of quietness, security, overall sense of coziness... There is really not much of advantage when you have an "at the beach" apartment, it would be much busier/louder place. This is quite the opposite and I love it.

Spot on location, the owner is a very friendly person and very nice to talk to. The view is breathtaking. There are plenty of parking spots which is quite a rarity in Greece. The room was extraordinary clean. The whole place smells like flowers and perfume, they cleaned the room every day and they changed our sheets and towels EVERY day... I haven't seen such service absolutely no where else in no country. I am a bit of germaphobe and sometimes I need a few days until I get used to sleeping in a hotel/rental bed, but here I felt like home due to the extraordinary cleanness. We were more than impressed!
