Breakfast was amazing. The bar area overlooking the pool was excellent. Loved the pets. Hosts were very helpful and just lovely people.

I love the fact that before I arrived they messaged me to find out when will i be making my arrival and when I arrived I was given a tour of the place plus a welcome drink that was absolutely free

This guesthouse is just absolutely beautiful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The grounds were meticulously maintained with a crystal clean swimming pool overlooked by the breakfast area. The hosts were simply amazing and so friendly and amusing. An excellent breakfast is provided. The host is a big fan of Nelson Mandela and the property features lots of memorabilia. Lots of advice on restaurants and things to do.

Fantastic stay in Oudtshoorn! The hosts, Errol and Venita, were so welcoming. They went the extra mile for a Birthday. The breakfast was lovely! Would absolutely recommend La Pension and will be back for sure! 10/10.

Home from home. Stunningly decorated and such wonderful hosts. Breakfast to die for and nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful family and it felt like a piece of paradise.

My husband and I spent two nights at La Pension Guest House and immediately regretted not booking for longer! From the moment we arrived, Venita and her adorable dog, Rubby, welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we felt right at home. The property is absolutely stunning, with a beautifully maintained garden full of thoughtful details that make it a little paradise. The swimming pool is a huge bonus, perfect for relaxing. Our room was elegant, chic, and incredibly comfortable—everything you’d hope for in a luxurious stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious and prepared with care. Venita is a wonderful host; she went above and beyond to help us with everything, from booking restaurants and tours to assisting with any requests we had. Her hospitality is truly unmatched. We fell in love with the entire experience—Venita, the lovely staff, the friendly cats, and, of course, Rubby, who made our stay even more special. We couldn’t recommend La Pension Guest House more highly; it’s the most special place to stay. Thank you for everything, Venita! ❤️

Errol and Venita were the most fantastic hosts in their beautiful guesthouse. Every little detail was thought of. The room was beautifully decorated (as was the whole place, especially the bar/breakfast room) and the bed was super comfortable with a great en-suite. In a great location, close to restaurants and the ostrich farms. We would highly recommend this place.
