Really homely and cosy The rooms were clean and tidy Had nice touches in the room - chocolate bars and also fresh milk in the shared lounge area. We didn’t use the lounge but liked how comfortable and cosy the area was. Also very quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and plenty of options including continental selection. The property was next door to the venue where we were attending a wedding and was half the price. Would stay again if I was in the area

Lovely place to spend the weekend - clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with a great selection available for small guesthouse. Couldn't have asked for a better experience - thank you.

The Butterchurn Guest House is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable, and clean with modern facilities. Darren was especially helpful regarding our booking - thank you. Our family stayed in Cheviot room and Ottocot room. Both were very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was made to order and absolutely delicious, wonderful lady who cooked it. Would definitely stay again.
