The location is excellent. We left our car in the parking garage for 2 days and walked everywhere - museums/shopping/restaurants and the Rideau Canal Skateway. I really like that there was a small fridge in the room which we used. Bed and bath linens were good quality/clean. Everything was very good which we expected for a 4 star hotel. We would stay here again for a short stay.

The Lord Elgin Hotel is centrally located near the Parliament in Ottawa and has a very welcoming staff. The room and bathroom were spacious. We loved the possibility of checking out at 12 p.m.

The staff were lovely and the interior of the hotel (lobby etc was very fancy). Our room was clean and spacious, with a lovely view. Location was fairly quiet whilst still being on the doorstep of everything. Would definitely stay there again

Location very near the downtown was good for exploring the city. Room was compact but comfy for one person. Bathroom was modern and clean. The food in the restaurant was good and the staff were very friendly.
