In room and public onsen is nice. Staff are friendly and smiling face. Shuttle bus is convenient and flexible to fetch you anytime to and forth Ogotoonsen station.

Great get away to relax and unwind. Hot springs, private and public were fantastic. Only reserved breakfast and the food was excellent. Room was very large looking out to lake Biwa. Hotel staff were very helpful and informative. The free shuttle to and from the hotel was also a plus.

It was easy and convenient to access by using the ryokan’s shuttle service by using the mobile phone at the station. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Private bath made it that much easier to enjoy in the comfort of our room.

A really cosy-traditional, luxurious and quiet getaway by a large lake near Kyoto - that we greatly enjoyed after spending a lot of time in the big cities and needed in order to calm down. When arriving at the station, within a few minutes (and after calling via the phone by the station) we were picked up by the staff, and after another couple of minutes we were already checked in. As we were only staying one night, we wanted to enjoy as much relaxation as possible and booked a spontaneous massage for the same evening, after enjoying our private onsen in the room / on the balcony (amazing views!!) and after (the many course) dinner. From other reviews, I had read that usually, a lot of fish is served for dinner and breakfast, so we reached out to order one vegetarian meal - and it was considered without problems. The dinner in our private little room felt like a star restaurant, with great quality food and service. Staff throughout and at every step was kind, trying to accommodate our every wish. Checkin was at 3 pm, checkout at 10 am.

Excellent ryokan stay near Lake Biwa! We had a private bath in our room which was lovely, and the room itself was spacious with a separate dining area which was very convenient. Provided toiletries were high quality and the ameneties bar was well-stocked. Staff were friendly and adept at using translation apps to speak with us as necessary. Whole area was quiet and overall a wonderful night spent.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was traditional and we enjoyed grilling the fish. The public onsen was also nice.

Great place to relax. Staff is very helpfu, we called them and in five minutes they send a car to the train station so we didin't have a problem with luggage. Rooms are spacious and atmosphere is great. We also loved outdoor bath. Dinner and breakfast are great options and we could try many different dishes.
