Shioya Kaigan is approximately a 30-minute bus ride away, and the property is a 5-minute walk from the Shioya Kaigan bus stop.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The place is right at the waterfront. Each room is facing the Sea of Japan. Staff is super attentive and the breakfast is great. I regret I did not get the dinner! Do stay for at least two days and chill. You can hear the waves at night (more if you keep the window open a little).

Everything. Really outstanding. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is literally meters from the sea. It's a little hard to find but totally worth it when you get there. It's a little outside town but there are really efficient bus services so not an issue if you want to go in for dinner and have a drink. The breakfast was one of our highlight meals of our 2 weeks in Japan. We loved our stay.

The distance from Otaru town was 15 minutes drive away. This property is literally located at the coastal line, a fascinating view from the room balcony and dining area. Breakfast was included, and it was surprisingly appetising as if served at a fine dining restaurant. The property operated since 2023, so everything is in a very good state. Everyone entering the place will need to take off their shoes at the reception, only allowed in their house slippers. There is individual r.emote to control the airon, heater (even for the bed). I liked the high ceiling in the room, that has a loft area to accommodate 2 more persons if needed. The service staff was wonderful and helpful extending help to us with our luggage. It was so relaxing watching the waves and seagulls busy at the shore.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, helping with luggage and room guidance. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a peaceful ocean view, especially impressive given the remote location. Thoughtfully built an outdoor staircase for guests to use for photography.

had a wonderful time at this quiet seaside house. the stylishly decorated room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony taking in the hums, the breezes and the magnificent view of the sea. you must not miss the french cuisine dinner here at the hotel restaurant. delicious is not enough to conclude the exceptional experience. it's also the ingredients, the food presentation, the delightful atmosphere that kept you smile throughout. will definitely come again when there's a chance.

This hotel was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Otaru.

Staff were extremely kind and accommodating here and really made you feel at home. The view from our room was spectacular. And the breakfast options were rather pleasant.

WOW! Super spacious apartment, including modern kitchen and overlooking a quiet bay. The location (a short distance by car from Otaru) was perfect for us and the property was clean, welcoming and attached restaurant served the most delicious course meals using Hokkaido ingredients. Staff have limited English but are very attentive to guest needs.
