The Butter Inn Crew are the best hosts! Picked me up from Happo Bus station and the gave a quick tour of the area and the Inn, making sure I was comfortable. It's a fun; warm and enjoyable place to stay, and if you want to explore the night life they have lots of activities most nights at the Inn and down the road at La Mantequillla. It's an awesome location for boarding or skiing at Norikura, you can literally walk and ski down to the lift 😍

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance from the Cortina and Norikura ski resorts. They also provide a free shuttle to Tsugaike ski resort. The lounge area with a fireplace is very pleasant. Showers were pretty good as well.

Complete access to kitchen, the most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel in Hakuba (special thanks to Cameron), awesome fireplace/cinema room, cool pub on the lower level.
