Perfect for my requirements - I was staying for only one night to attend a local wedding. Comfy bed, love the hot drink facilities + bathroom. 5 stars~

Older style motel, quite roomy and very clean. Very good bathroom. Kitchen small and old, but very good appliances provided for cooking - better than in many similar motels. Location good. Very obliging staff.

Location just an hour from Wellington helped as shortened our travel time yet easy access to Wellington the following day . Although close to highway we were not troubled by road noise which the motel has addressed. Although an older perhaps 1960s original build the shower was a recent renovation and kitchen facilities good though the kitchen is small . Hosts helpful.

Modern bathroom, very comfortable bed, good linen & towels. Can see the owners are upgrading as they can afford. Good location for an overnight stop coming off ferry or going to ferry.
