Powell “Great place for a rural stay with fantastic food”

We stayed for 2 nights after a day in Bilbao, so found the location very peaceful, quiet and restful. We had a warm welcome, and could choose a time to suit us for dinner. The evening meal was a limited choice of home cooked local produce - it was excellent. Our room was large and had all the facilities we needed. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area - lots of walking and great cycling.

Extraordinary people, working a lot and doing everything not just to please you and feel comfortable, but feel like home. Excellent breakfast and dinner, great food, with a taste that it is hard to describe it - you will have to try it. We’ll get there like tourists and leave like old friends. The Basque Contry and this particular location it is a must do and see in Spain. Thank you ! Gracias para todo !

We loved our stay at Urrutia and would love to come back! It was an extremely restful two day stay. It was lovely to chat with the owners to learn about the region as well as the local cuisine. We recommend to have dinner there.
